The Township oversees administration of General Assistance, as well as both Oakwood and Evergreen cemeteries. The Township Assessor identifies and evaluates all parcels of property within the township limits to determine their value, which is then used by local governments to determine rates of taxation. The Township Road District is responsible for construction, maintenance, and repair of all roads and bridges within the Township boundaries.
